The Product:
The Orca Core Swimrun wetsuit is designed specifically for swimrun competitions. It adapts to the needs of both the footrace and swimming, and has extra buoyancy in the lower trunk to keep your legs on the surface while you swim, without hampering your freedom of movement during the footrace.

REMOVABLE SLEEVES – being able to remove the sleeves from this suit sets it apart from the rest. When swimming, the arms can be attached for extra buoyancy and warmth, and when running they can be detached for ventilation to help you stay cool.

POCKET – this is a handy extra features, as few wetsuits have an exterior pocket. This could be used to house a navigation device or something else that you may need during your swim and run.
- BUILT-IN WHISTLE – the SwimRun Core wetsuit comes with its own whistle (a mandatory item when competing in SwimRun races), and is designed to not get in your way during your swim but be easily accessible in an emergency.
- EXTENDED FRONT ZIP – this allows you to get extra ventilation as you run as well as being helpful for removing the suit at the end.

CORE SUPPORT – the Swimrun Core uses technology to help support your core. There are 5mm panels along the sides of the suit, combined with a 4mm ‘lifting panel’ at the front of the suit, which results in more buoyancy concentrated on your core. This will support and stabilise your core muscles to help to reduce sideways movement without hindering your ability to roll.

WATERPROOF – this may seem obvious, but the fact the suit is completely impermeable means that your weight will not vary and affect your stroke or time.

FLEXIBLE – the suit has different materials throughout, and in the places where you need flexibility the most there is a stretchy nylon to promote freedom of movement.

The two removable sleeves made from 2-mm neoprene make this wetsuit a versatile option: you can take off the sleeves during the race and put them back on during the swimming segment for greater buoyancy.Â
OUTER POCKETS
Its outer side pocket offers you the possibility to carry the required GPS or your favourite nutrition product.Â
BUILT-IN WHISTLE
The Swimrun Core includes a whistle, as required for swimrun races, conveniently positioned so that it doesn’t get in the way during competition, but you can still use it easily in case of an emergency.Â
LONG FRONT ZIP
Orca has lengthened the front zip so that the suit is easier to put on and take off. It also provides better ventilation while you’re running.
